There are a few things in life that really inspire me, but nothing more than cooking and art. They are both a refection of the creativity talents born within the creator; an inspiration of their senses which transcends their existence. Here is one of my favorite cooking artist and her whimsical painting.
Holy Trinity Painted by Linda Paul
“I learned that in southern cooking, peppers, onions & celery are called the holy trinity.” ~ Linda Paul, artist
I am a cook by necessity... a human by birth. For me cooking is a passion ~ I enjoy experimenting with new flavors & ingredients. I have always felt that cooking is not brain surgery; if you can read, you can cook. I liked the ceremony, the ritual of cooking, the preparing of ingredients and seeing the end results. Cooking is a way of expressing one’s creativity – it’s the art of presentation.
Cooking is all about family & friends. It is a way to bringing people together; to share and to comfort. It’s a gift – not if you do it well, but if you satisfy the hunger of one’s soul.
Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. But I go marching on. ~George Bernard Shaw
